Attorney Mark R. Toth is a partner at Schmidlkofer & Toth, LLC. Mark was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After living in Florida during his early years, Mark’s family returned to the Brookfield area where he graduated from high school. Mark attended Marquette University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
During his collegiate years, Mark was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He served as President, Philanthropy Chairman and Vice President of Finance. Mark, along with the Milwaukee Bucks and the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southeastern Wisconsin, directed one of Marquette University student body’s largest fundraisers to date. Following graduation, Mark worked as a Senior Account Executive at Midwest Payment Systems in Chicago, Illinois negotiating new data processing contracts with some of the nation’s largest banks. After a few years in the corporate realm and a remaining desire to pursue a legal career, Mark returned to Marquette University in 1998 as a law student (J.D. 2001).
During law school, Mark worked as a clerk at a general practice firm and gained experience in the areas of estate planning, probate, family law and personal injury. In 2000, Mark was awarded the Glojek Academic Scholarship. Mark’s academic excellence extended to being named on the Dean’s List and receiving an award for the highest course grade.
Following his graduation from Marquette University Law School in 2001, Mark became an associate at the general practice law firm where he had clerked while he was a law student. In 2002, Mark authored an appellate brief on a municipal violation that was subsequently published by the Court of Appeals.
In 2003, Mark began working at a New Berlin law firm. Mark specialized in estate planning, probate, family law and personal injury. Mark, along with Attorney Basil Loeb, was responsible for opening a new location for that firm.
In 2005, Mark, Attorney Basil M. Loeb and Attorney Scott A. Schmidlkofer started Schmidlkofer & Toth, LLC.
Mark’s practice includes estate planning, probate, family law and personal injury. Mark is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Aside from work, Mark enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and daughter.
